Duties and responsibilities:

The Medical Officer is a technical position involving responsibility for training, maintenance of equipment and distribution of all medical supplies. The Medical Officer will direct and schedule all in-service training pertaining to EMTs and Paramedics. The work is performed under general direction of the Assistant Fire Chief with latitude in decision making, initiative and leadership within the framework of established policies and procedures.
