Duties
and responsibilities:
Under the
direction of the Fire Chief, the Finance
Director manages all aspects of the District’s
accounting.
This includes but is not limited to
financial reporting, investments, billing,
debt issues, accounts payable, payroll, grant
compliance and reporting, fixed asset
reconciliation, and compliance with policy,
rules and regulations as they relate to
Finance. Coordination of the annual financial
audit by independent Certified Public
Accountants and Annual State of Florida
Comptrollers Report are also the
responsibility of the Finance Director. The
financial director also works directly with
the Fire Chief to create and administer the
annual fiscal budget.
