Welcome to the Fort Myers Beach Fire Control District’s Fire Prevention Division. The Fire Prevention Division focus is on the prevention of fires; the investigation of the cause and origin of fires; the elimination of fire and life safety hazards in buildings; the maintenance of fire protection equipment and systems; the regulation of storage, use and handling of hazardous materials and substances; and working together with the Town of Fort Myers Beach and Lee County in enforcement of the basic building regulations.
