Fort Myers Beach Fire Control District (FMBFCD) maintains the privacy of our patients' health care information. Effective April 14, 2003, we are required by law to protect the confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) and to provide all patients with a notice of our privacy practices.

FMBFCD's Notice of Privacy Practices outlines our legal duties with respect to your PHI and describes our privacy practices in detail. The notice also explains under what circumstances FMBFCD is permitted to use and disclose PHI about you, how you can access that information, make amendments, and request restrictions on our use and disclosure of your PHI.
