Welcome to Fort Myers Beach Fire Control District’s web-site.  As Season approaches, we realize our population drastically increases with our part-time residents. Together with our year-round residents, our rise in our senior population is where we notice the biggest increase. As a Department, our highest call volume includes seniors and falls. We would like to offer two web links to help this population with some issues they may face.

The first is a fall prevention program offered by the State of Florida. This informative web page offers tips that seniors may implement in their personal life and at home to help prevent falls.

 The second is a national program called Silver Alert. This may be helpful for those who have family members who may suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. We hope these links offer some useful information.
